GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION

Do I need to be saved?

• God is holy. No sin will ever enter His presence, for "righteousness and judgment are the habitation of His throne" (Psalm 97:2).
• Man is sinful. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
• Sin separates man from God. "But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you" (Isaiah 59:2).
• It is impossible for man to save himself. "By the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in His sight" (Romans 3:20).

Can I be saved?

• God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to be your Savior. "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins" (1 John 4:10).
• Jesus Christ, the living Savior invites sinners to receive Him. "Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).
• Forgiveness of sins and salvation can be yours today. "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God" (1 Peter 3:18).

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life" (John 5:24).

Prayer to receive Jesus Christ

The following prayer is to lead you into what is known as the "sinner's prayer". These are words spoken by a person when he or she has recognized their sin and their need for a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Please pray this prayerfully :

“Heavenly Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

Be assured of your Salvation

"These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God." - 1 John 5:13

Be Baptized

"Repent and be baptized every one of you." - Acts 2:38 (It is not meant as an option, it is a command).

Get to know God

• Read your Bible - 2 Timothy 2:15
• "Study to show yourself approved unto God."
• Devote yourself to prayer - Colossians 4:2
  "Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful."
• Attend a bible believing church - Hebrews 10:24-25
  "And let us consider how we are to spur one another on toward good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in habit of doing, but let us encourage one another..."

Fellowship with other Christians

• "Bad company corrupts good morals." - 1 Corinthians 15:33
• Choose new friends who are bible believing Christians.

Share about the Lord with others

• "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so." - Psalms 107:2
